PATTERNED Day

Lately I've had The Patterned Day as I called it. For all that Day I had an impression that I am seeing only great, inspiring patterns & textures everywhere. It was completely unexpected, but very refreshing. Fantastic material for fashion's projects!

I felt in love with that pattern - really awesome:)) !

Something on THE BACK

I saw that two men in the same time & in the same place - on chineese airport in Wenzhou. Both had jeans jackets with awesome back! First of them had funny cartoon's main character - Pica Pau/ Woody Woodpecker. Second one displayed military look with American Flag & U.S. Marine Corps symbols. I think this is great way to personalize & disguise your ordinary jeans jacket to be impressive again !

CHINA, CHINA...

In the middle of October I was again in China. I love this place - chineese clothes markets in big cities are real paradise for fashionable people looking for quiant clothes. The way of dressing and design of clothes are completely different than in Europe. Most of clothes have special look with many structural cuttings, crazy prints, colours and patterns. Chineese people, to tell the truth, like "very expensive" look with many ornaments, drapes, frills, lace & shiny beads, but from european point of view many of  their clothes (separately) are really fantastic. You can also find there a lot of gorgeous shoes - sometimes their forms are really amazing ! Every chineese trip is very inspiring for me:)

Glittery shoes, gorgeous trousers, laced top & black jacket with shiny beads.

Roy Lichtenstein back pocket.

The most creative & optimistic mens T-shirt I've lately seen.

SUMMER TREND - Washed Up Colours

Currently very strong is trend for vibrant, pure colours, strongly deriving from stylistics of 60s. Last summer brought us stripes patterns and colour blocking to show best the power of colour. Next summer seems to keep this trend but in two variations. First one - still garish & energetic, and second one - with washed up colours, seemingly a little bit faded on the sun.

Pure energetic colours.

From the other hand - still colours, but with strong washing up effect.

THINKING ABOUT SUMMER - IV - Blue & Beige, Berlin

Pictures I show you here as "Thinking About Summer" were taken in last July on Premium Fairs in Berlin. Fairs presented new SS12 trends in clothing and accessories. Now I found them and because is very cold outside I thought that it is nice to recall hot summer & some summer stylings:). See that amazing mix of blue and beige, silver shoes & funny bag only complement the whole - I can't wait for next summer !

My Own Point of View

I am fascinated in the personal style of people who surround me, in street fashion. This is so inspiring to see how different people wear their clothes, how they match all details in one creative apparel. How simply sometimes they create the great stylings from quite ordinary stuffs. High fashion is the great incentive - offers many fabulous solutions for everyday clothing, but because of being unavailable for most of people, stays just an inspiration. Now the real fashion & fresh trends are creating on the streets, without any inferiority complex. I think Scott Schuman expressed this in the best way:
As I’ve mentioned before, I think some people have lost the thread on how to relate to fashion shows.  Shows aren’t something that should make you feel bad about not being able to afford what you’re seeing, or not looking like a model.  Instead, they should just be pure inspiration for color, silhouette, genre, pattern matching…and DIY projects.
